Patrick Rushing, (U.S. Air Force, SMSgt Retired) is also a retired US Navy civilian Accountant (Sixth Fleet Comptroller, Blue Angels Financial Specialist) His duties included Lead Accountant for the Sixth Fleet Comptroller in Naples Italy as well as the Financial Specialist for the US Navy’s Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron located in Pensacola, Florida. He also participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq following 9/11 as well as Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan as an Intelligence Specialist. Hometown is Ocala, Florida where he received a degree in Advanced Accounting from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
He had experience with Drones in both Afghanistan and Iraq which fueled his desire to help Disabled and Injured Veterans learn how to fly drones as well as obtaining their FAA 107 Pilot’s license required to fly drones commercially. SMSgt Rushing has passed the FAA 107 test and presently possesses the required FAA 107 Pilot’s License. He is the treasurer and keeper of the financial books for the Florida Branch of the
WE-UAS. He continues with his desire to aid wounded veterans in learning how to fly drones.
